Amines: A33 is generally used to promote the reaction of isocyanate with water, adjust foam density, bubble opening, etc., mainly to promote foaming reaction.

Amine: foam bursting, pores or foaming

Less amine: the foam shrinks and closes, and the foam is thicker at the bottom.

Tin: Usually, tin octylate T-9 is used; T-9 is a highly reactive gel reaction catalyst in a polyurethane catalyst, mainly to promote a gel reaction, that is, a late reaction.

Polyurethane Catalyst Use: Stannous octoate catalyst is an important catalyst for the production of polyurethane foams, especially polyurethane soft foams.

Note: Avoid breathing vapor and mist droplets when in use. Avoid splashing into your eyes and avoid contact with skin and clothing. Do not touch the skin for long or multiple times. The container for the product should be kept sealed. Use a well ventilated place. Wash with water after contact with skin.

Packing: 25kg / plastic bucket

Tin poly: rapid gelation, increased viscosity, poor resilience, poor gas permeability, resulting in closed cells. If this amount is appropriately increased to obtain a loose, good open cell foam, further increase in this amount will thicken the foam, causing shrinkage and clogging.

Less tin: insufficient gel, causing cracking during the foaming process. There are cracks on the edges or top and there are peeling and burrs.

When a gas agglomerate occurs, reducing the amine or increasing tin can increase the strength of the polymer bubble membrane wall, thereby reducing hollowness or cracking.

Whether a polyurethane foam has a desired open or closed cell structure depends primarily on whether the gel reaction rate and gas expansion rate are balanced during foam formation. This balance can be achieved by adjusting the type and amount of tertiary amine catalyst in the formulation, as well as foam stabilizers and other additives.
